Original Packaging
Item must be in its original box with all accessories, manuals, and shrink wrap intact.
Tamper Seal Intact
The DTS tamper-evident seal must not be broken. Broken seals are ineligible unless DOA.
Proof of Purchase
Your DTS order number or receipt must be provided at the time of return.
Within Return Window
Return must be initiated within the applicable window (7 days or 48 hrs for DOA).
All Tags & Labels Attached
Product labels, IMEI stickers, and warranty cards must be attached and unaltered.
Not Physically Damaged
Items with physical damage caused after delivery (drops, scratches, cracks) are not eligible.

Reach out via WhatsApp, email, or the return form on this page within your return window. Include your order number and reason for return.

Get Return Approval
Our returns team reviews your request within 24 hours and sends you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Pack the Item Securely
Repack the item in its original packaging. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Do not use tape on the product itself.

Handover to Pickup Agent
A DTS logistics agent will collect the item from your address. For Lagos, same-day or next-day pickup is available.

We inspect the item within 1–2 business days of receipt. You will be notified of the outcome via SMS and email.

For hygiene reasons, opened in-ear headphones cannot be returned unless defective.

DTS gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Physically Damaged Items
Damage caused by the customer (drops, spills, cracked screens) is not covered.
Items Not Purchased from DTS
We can only accept returns on products purchased directly through DTS.ng or our store.
Returns After the Window
Items returned outside the 7-day window are not eligible unless covered by warranty.
Items that develop a manufacturer defect after the return window may still be covered under the DTS Warranty Policy. Contact our support team for assessment.

Quick answers to common return questions
Can I return an item I bought as a gift?
Yes. The person receiving the gift can initiate a return using the original order number. A store credit will be issued if no payment details are available for a bank refund.
What if my item arrived damaged?
Report it within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos sent to support@dts.ng. We will arrange free pickup and a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
Do I pay for return shipping?
No. DTS covers the cost of return pickup for all eligible returns within Lagos. For returns from outside Lagos, a flat ₦1,500 logistics fee applies, which is deducted from the refund.
What happens if my return is rejected?
If the item does not meet return conditions, we will notify you within 2 business days and return the item to you. You can appeal the decision within 5 days by providing additional evidence.
Can I exchange for a different model?
Yes. Exchanges for a different colour or model are allowed within the return window, subject to stock availability. A price difference may apply.
How do I track my return?
Once your RMA is issued, you will receive a tracking link via SMS. You can also check status by logging into your DTS account under My Orders.
What if I paid with cash on delivery?
Refunds for cash payments are made via bank transfer within 3–5 business days. We will request your bank account details at the time of return approval.
