Section 01
Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Distinct Technical Service (“DTS”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, operating at distincttechnicalservices.com.

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or using any DTS service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, and Shipping Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference. In the event of a conflict, these Terms take precedence.
Section 02
Eligibility & Accounts
Who Can Use DTS
You must be at least 18 years of age to create a DTS account or place an order.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
You are responsible for all activity on your account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
You may only hold one personal account. Business accounts are permitted separately.
Account Security
Notify us immediately at support@dts.ng if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
DTS will never ask for your password by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, show fraudulent activity, or have been inactive for more than 3 years.
Section 03
Orders & Payments
Placing an Order

All orders placed on DTS are subject to acceptance and availability. Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is only formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email or SMS.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including where items are out of stock, pricing errors have occurred, or fraud is suspected.
If we cancel an order after payment, a full refund will be issued within 3–5 business days.
Product images are for illustration purposes. Minor variations in colour or packaging may occur.
Pricing

CurrencyAll prices are displayed and charged in Nigerian Naira (₦).
Price ChangesPrices may change without notice. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you pay.
Pricing ErrorsIf a product is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed at that price and issue a full refund.
TaxesAll displayed prices are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by Nigerian law.
PromotionsDiscount codes and promotions are subject to their individual terms and cannot be combined unless stated.
Payment Methods
Debit / Credit Cards
Visa, Mastercard, and Verve cards accepted securely via our payment gateway.
Bank Transfer
Direct bank transfers accepted. Order is confirmed on clearance.
Cash on Delivery
Available in Lagos only. Exact amount must be ready on delivery.
Mobile Money / USSD
Supported via our payment partners Paystack and Flutterwave.
DTS will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account or third-party wallet. All payments must go through our official checkout. If in doubt, call +234 800 000 0000.
Section 04
Delivery

Delivery is governed by our full Shipping & Delivery Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Key points are summarised below:

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. DTS is not liable for delays caused by the logistics carrier, public holidays, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. DTS is not liable for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect address information.
Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery and signature.
A signature is required on all deliveries. You may authorise another adult at the delivery address to sign on your behalf.
Inspect items before signing. By signing, you acknowledge receipt in good condition. Transit damage claims made after signing may not be accepted.
Section 05
Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our full Returns & Refunds Policy. Key terms are:

Eligible items may be returned within 7 days of delivery in their original, sealed, unopened condition.
Items damaged on arrival (DOA) must be reported within 48 hours with photographic evidence.
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Opened software, activated licence keys, gift cards, and hygiene products cannot be returned unless defective.
Section 06
Warranty

All products sold by DTS come with a minimum 12-month DTS warranty covering manufacturer defects, unless otherwise stated on the product page. Some products also carry the manufacturer’s own warranty in addition to ours.

What the DTS Warranty Covers
Manufacturing defects that appear under normal use.
Hardware failures not caused by misuse, physical damage, or water exposure.
Dead-on-arrival (DOA) units reported within 48 hours of delivery.
What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
Physical damage caused by drops, impacts, pressure, or deliberate misuse.
Water or liquid damage.
Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications, or use of incompatible accessories.
Normal wear and tear, including scratches, cosmetic damage, and battery degradation over time.
Products with tampered, removed, or defaced serial numbers or warranty stickers.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@dts.ng with your order number and a description of the defect. We will advise on assessment, repair, or replacement.
Section 07
Intellectual Property

All content on the DTS website — including but not limited to text, images, logos, icons, graphics, product photographs, page layouts, and software code — is the intellectual property of Distinct Technical Service or its licensors and is protected under Nigerian copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any DTS content without our express written permission.
You may not use DTS trademarks, logos, or brand assets in any way that could imply endorsement or affiliation without written consent.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Product brands, names, and logos displayed on DTS remain the property of their respective manufacturers.
Section 08
Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use DTS services for any of the following purposes:

Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information in any form or order.
Using any automated tool, bot, scraper, or script to access or extract content from our website.
Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems, databases, or servers.
Reselling DTS products for commercial profit without an authorised dealer agreement.
Placing orders with no intention to pay or using stolen payment credentials.
Harassing, threatening, or abusing DTS staff or other customers.
Posting fake reviews, manipulating ratings, or engaging in any deceptive marketing practice.
Using DTS services in violation of any applicable Nigerian law or regulation.
Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension, order cancellation, and referral to the relevant Nigerian law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
Section 09
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer

DTS provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take every reasonable step to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information on our website.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, DTS shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of DTS services.
Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power outages, or courier failures.
Content or conduct of third-party websites linked from our platform.
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
Section 10
Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Consumer Protection Council Act, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018, and other applicable statutes.

Dispute Resolution

Step 1 — Direct Resolution
Contact our support team first. Most issues are resolved within 48 hours without any formal process.

Step 2 — Formal Complaint
If unresolved, submit a formal complaint to our management team at legal@dts.ng. We respond within 7 business days.

Step 3 — Mediation
Where the matter remains unresolved, both parties agree to attempt resolution through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing litigation.

Step 4 — Litigation
Any proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Section 11
Changes to These Terms

DTS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will:

Update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
Notify registered customers by email if the changes are significant.
Display a notice on our website for at least 14 days following the change.

Your continued use of DTS services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
